Pricing changes we saw this quarter
Tracking real list-price movement across Henry Schein, Patterson, Benco, and Net32 over Q1 2026 — and what it tells us about the supply chain.
By The shopdental team
Because we re-scrape supplier prices on a fixed cadence, we end up with a high-resolution time series of how list prices move across the four big national distributors. Here’s what Q1 2026 looked like.
Gloves trended down 4–8%
Nitrile and latex examination gloves drifted lower across all four suppliers, mostly tracking lower input costs and inventory normalizing post-pandemic. Net32 still leads on list price for nitrile; Patterson now leads on latex.
Composites flat, restorative cements up
Brand-name composites held flat. Restorative cements ticked up 2–3% on both Henry Schein and Patterson, likely reflecting the GC America price-list update in February.
Anesthetic injectables: tighter spreads
The supplier-to-supplier spread on common lidocaine SKUs narrowed meaningfully this quarter. The savings we can find here are smaller than they were six months ago — so make sure you check elsewhere in your cart for outsized wins.
